I’m Bea - the owner, designer, fulfillment team, and the person that negotiates with every stubborn printer here at Planner Loom.

I come from an engineering/project management background that fueled my passion for systems, efficiency, and Type A perfectionism. For years, my career has been about the analytical side of operations, solving puzzles and optimizing workflows. But I always felt a pull toward my artistic side, searching for a way to unite the logic of engineering with the beauty of creative design. Planner Loom is the result of that intersection!

Why the "Loom"?

I’ve always been fascinated by the philosophy of a handloom. It was an invention from 6,000-8,000 years ago that drove incredible efficiency and productivity. Yet, it did not eliminate the artisanal, handmade aspect of the weaving process. It was an awesome tool to create beautiful and intricate fabrics.

I believe our lives are much like that fabric. Thread by thread, our daily habits and plans create the bigger picture of our journey. I wanted to create tools that help you weave beauty and functionality into your plans, turning the act of organizing your life into a rewarding, intentional process.

Everything Here is Engineered!

While Planner Loom is a new shop, it wasn’t built overnight. I spent over a year meticulously planning our launch. Today, we design, print, cut, pack, and ship every single order from our studio in North Carolina. To ensure a level of precision that goes beyond hobbyist equipment, we’ve invested in commercial-grade machines. This allows us to achieve a professional, flawless finish that meets our high standards for every single sheet. I’ve personally tested countless materials and calibrated every setting to ensure that what arrives at your door is impeccable. The overall composition and functional design of our products are fully made by us, but it’s worth noting we occasionally use licensed elements from other talented artists to bring specific creative visions to life.

Happy Productivity is the Goal

I'm a firm believer of "Happy Productivity". I hate when planning feels like a chore. Productivity that requires recurring motivation to overcome dread is not sustainable! For a habit to be consistent, it has to be enjoyable. It should be a healing hobby that fulfills the soul.
